Why PDP cannot win Central — Ojemeva, others

Three former chieftains of the PDP James Ojemeva, Col. David Imuse (rtd.) and Mr. Fidelis Ulinfun who led over 3,000 members of the PDP into the APC, penultimate week, have declared that Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s developmental strides in Edo Central will give victory to APC in the area. The former PDP leaders declared that the PDP lacks the capacity to win the forthcoming governorship election in the state, asserting that even in Edo Central, the party has lost the steam to defeat the APC in the area. Speaking to journalists weekend, Ojemeva vowed to deliver the APC governorship candidate, Godwin Obaseki in Edo Central. He said their decision to join the APC was borne out of the conviction that Obaseki has all it takes to deliver the state from the current recession in the country, adding that the PDP is still centered around a cabal of leaders who will not encourage development in the state. “PDP is a party of deceit, with unfulfilled promises and the gods of Esan land have declared that APC will defeat the PDP not only in Esan land but the entire state.
