Falconets head coach, Peter Dedevbo has invited prolific striker, Chinwendu Ihezuo and 29 others to kick-start preparations for the 8th FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Papua New Guinea later in the year.
The Falconets, who edged Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa home and away in the qualifying series, will tackle Japan, Canada and Spain at the finals scheduled for November 13 – December 03 in the tiny Pacific Ocean state. Among the invited players are goalkeeper, Sandra Chichi, defenders, Ugochi Emenayo, Esther Elijah, midfielders, Joy Bokiri and Tessy Biawho and forwards, Uchenna Kalu, Yetunde Adeboyejo and Chinaza Uchendu. The players are to report in Abuja on Tuesday, September 27 with their training kits, birth certificates and international passports.
