APGA expels two party officials over anti-party activities

APGA has disowned some of its members including the State Publicity Secretary, Chief Paul Okolie for alleged anti- party activities, even as it passed a vote of confidence on its governorship candidate, Earl Osaro Onaiwu.
A statement signed by the State APGA Chairman, Godfrey Ehizokhale Ehimhen and State Secretary, Aifuobhokhan Emmanuel, said the party had been reliably informed of some actions of APGA State Publicity Secretary, Chief Paul Okolie and the Organizing Secretary, Chidi Eze, which amounts to anti-party activities. The duo added that Chief Paul Okolie and Chidi Eze and their supporters have long been expelled from the party spanning over three months due to their involvement in antiparty activities and “are no longer members of the party.” They described the duo as political jobbers working against the party and promoting other leading political parties vying for the governorship. They, however, warned all party members ahead of the forthcoming Edo governorship election to play by the rules to avoid being sanctioned.
